Ramzi Moutran was born in Bahrain, educated in England and fell in love with advertising while living in Beirut, Cape Town and London, finally settling down in Memac Ogilvy Dubai. Where he has been working with an incredibly talented team on amazing brands such as Coca-Cola, Volkswagen, Google, UNWomen, Nestle, Dove, Al Jazeera English and IBM to mention but a few.

2014 crowned Ramzi as the number one Creative Director in The One Show and his office Memac Ogilvy Dubai the 13th most awarded office. At the Dubai Lynx they won Agency of the Year and Campaign Magazine Middle East voted them Best Creative Agency in the Middle East for two year in a row. Over the years Ramzi has won in all the big award shows, Cannes Lions, D&AD, New York Festival, One Show, LIA, Clio. At the Cannes Lion Festival 2014 Memac Ogilvy Dubai won 3 Gold, 2 Silvers and 1 Bronze Lion. But most importantly, brought home the first Titanium Lion awarded in the Middle East. In the following years Memac Ogilvy Dubai under his creative leadership went on to win the first ever Effectiveness lion as well as much more metal in many shows around the world. In 2015 Memac Ogilvy Dubai was ranked, 3rd most creative office in the whole Ogilvy Group and the most awarded Middle East agency in the Cannes Lions festival for the last 3 years in a row.

Ramzi has Judged at many award shows and in 2015, judged the Cannes Film category and was the President of the Jury for the PIAF Award show. Ramzi is also in the midst of finishing up his eMBA in the Berlin School of Creative Leadership, and his philosophy about his job is the same as his father’s: “if you love the job that you do, you don’t do a day of work in your life”.
